Metallica-The Black Album[1991]

Metallica (also known as The Black Album) is the self-titled 5th studio album by the American heavy metal band Metallica, released in 1991. It features some of Metallica's most popular songs, "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven" ,"Nothing Else Matters" , "Wherever I May Roam" and "Sad but True". It spent four consecutive weeks at number one on Billboard 200.

Metallica was released on August 12, 1991 through Elektra Records, and is the band's best-selling album to date, with over 15 million copies sold in the United States and over 22 million copies worldwide[citation needed]. It's also one of the best-selling heavy metal albums of all time.

The album cover features only the band's logo and a coiled snake (derived from the Gadsden flag). The motto of the Gadsden flag, "Don't Tread on Me", is also the title of a song featured on the album.

Metallica DVD-Audio 5.1 mix was released in 2004 through Elektra Records.

Seal - Seal IV[2003]

After five years and one do-over later, Seal presents a fourth album, Seal IV, that finds the singer growing with his audience. The opener "Get It Together" melds a quiet "live" moment into a horn-and-string disco number, setting the stage for the rest of the album, which is largely a nod to Detroit and Philly R&B. The UK-born musician pulls it off. His rasp and emotive, positive vocals are well suited for the retro stylings he attempts. "Waiting for You" will flood the dance floor, and he's unafraid to dig deep for the ballads--Marvin Gaye would approve. The funk is real, but saddled with a pop safety net, and the upbeat tracks need a helping hand from a good remixer before they are as compelling as his seminal singles "Killer" and "Crazy". Seal never goes all out in any direction and this coolness, combined with Trevor Horn's perfectionist production, plants the album inescapably in the realm of adult contemporary (although this is as good as adult contemporary gets). On "Let Me Roll", Seal salutes the album's influences by proclaiming he's "not too proud to beg". If that were actually true, the songs would have been that much better for it. --Beth Massa

Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too is the only album by the New Radicals, released in late 1998 by MCA Records. Two singles were released off it in 1999, "You Get What You Give" and "Someday We'll Know".

The album reached #41 on the Billboard 200 and achieved Platinum status (1,000,000 copies sold) on October 14, 1999 in the United States. On the UK Albums Chart, the album reached as high as #10.

Maggie Bell - Suicide sal [1975]

In 1975 MAGGIE BELL’S second solo album was released to much critical acclaim having been recorded at RINGO STARR’s Studio, Tittenhurst Park, Ascot, England 'Suicide Sal' was a different sort of album to its
predecessor 'Queen Of The Night' as she had been playing live over the past year and the material had already been “road tested” and she captured on this release more of a 'rockier' live feel.

Fellow label mate JIMMY PAGE of Led Zeppelin even played on one of the tracks.

The release did particularly well in Germany and USA with one reviewer Tom Nolan stating “This LP signals Maggie Bell’s arrival as the fine, powerful singer we had been touted to expect. I have a feeling people will be playing this one for years” Enough said.
